Behold, my techno-savviness!

Eve how did you do this?? plz send email with instructions... i want to show you my runs!
ReplyDeleteOk, so you go to htis website:
ReplyDeletehttp://www.mapmyrun.com/
You open a free account, and then you can keep track of your runs, calculate distances, and even search for runners and courses by people in your area (so like, if you're looking for a nice 5km route, it's really easy to do and you can browse through (what I'm sure are hundreds! )in NYC). OR you can go to "Map a New Run" and create and save your own, see how long it is, etc. Then once it's saved, you can share the link to the run - there is a button you can click to blog it directly. And voila! It doesn't take long to figure out how to work it...
And hey, I didn't know you ran!
I'm tying with the idea of runnign the half-marathon in Edinburgh in May (20Km). It might be too much with rowing trianing too, so I'll consider it carefully, but I have a friend who's doing the full one with friends, and so transport and stuff would be taken care of... Wait, I think I told you this! Anyway, this is the course: http://www.downloads.edinburgh-marathon.com/MarMaps/2010_Course_ALL.pdf
I'm sure it would be breathtaking. The view. though the running too would make it hard to breathe too. It's complicated.
